"Hebble Complete Successful Recertification of Piston Accumulator for ACC Plastics Group"
This November Hebble Hydraulics successfully recertified one of the largest accumulators we have ever worked on. The client was ACC Plastics Group, who are a specialist plastic injection moulding company based in Rotherham. ACC Plastics Group are a well established company who are continually growing and they chose Hebble to complete the project. They decided to go with us as we are one of the only specialist companies that can offer recertification of piston accumulators and offer written scheme approval for pressure systems.
The hydraulic accumulator recertification process was completed to a tight deadline and the whole project was finished in just four days. Six members of the Hebble team recertified a bank of 50 litre back up bottles and 280 litre Schaffer and Bolenza accumulators. These huge accumulators have a combined weight of over five tons and are amongst the largest we have undertaken.
Using our high pressure test equipment, the vessels were tested and resealed to comply with the Pressure Safety Systems Regulations 2000, leaving the ACC Plastics Group fully satisfied with the completed job.
